Jason Tschimperle
Jason is a self-taught illustrator, graphic and sound designer originally from Cascadia, now residing in the Sangre De Cristos mountains outside of Taos, New Mexico. His illustrations are land-based, trance-work meditations influenced by outsider art and re-imagined animal and new-human symbology. Graphic and sound designs are a fusion of post-punk, activism and medicine drones. He’s showed his work and performed in flea markets, gallery spaces, vintage travel trailers, and publications throughout the Pacific Northwest, South, and Southwest.He also practices photography, mycology, mountaineering, shikan-taza, and is an awareness-based educator and practitioner.
